Zippy is a local-first desktop application. Your files are never uploaded to Zippy's servers — all compression, conversion, and profile training runs entirely on your own machine. These terms govern your use of the software and this website.
By downloading, installing, or using Zippy you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software. These Terms apply to the desktop application and the zippy.app website.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable (except as noted below) license to install and use Zippy on your own devices.
All plans permit installation on up to two personal machines simultaneously.

Zippy is designed to process your data entirely on your own machine:
Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store your payment details.
Zippy uses OpenZL, an open-source compression library developed by Meta Platforms, Inc. and licensed under the BSD License. You can find the full OpenZL license at openzl.org. Your use of Zippy does not grant you any rights to OpenZL beyond those already granted by its BSD License.
Zippy includes an auto-updater. Updates are signed and delivered via the same distribution channel as the original installer. You can disable auto-updates in Settings. We provide best-effort email support at hello@zippy.app; priority support is included with paid plans.
Zippy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zippy and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data or profits — arising out of your use of or inability to use the software, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app's update channel or by email. Continued use of the software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zippy is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
